2007 – The business is founded
RIW Software was launched within the Rahmqvist Group with a focus on visitor management, inventory control, and theft marking through MarkItSafe.

Since 2007, we have developed software that simplifies the workday for companies, municipalities, and organizations. From our first solutions for visitor management and inventory control to today’s business systems, we have had the same starting point: understanding users' needs and creating systems that work in practice.
The foundation of RIW Software
RIW Software was founded in 2007 as part of the Rahmqvist Group. What began with solutions for concrete needs in the workday gradually developed into a business with its own product development.
2010 – RegitWise is developed
We developed RegitWise to help organizations structure helpdesk, support, and case management.
2012 – In-house development department
We established our own development department. This gave us control over the entire process, from development and further development to the finished product and support.

Since establishing our own development department in 2012, we have built on a way of working where development, customer dialogue, and technical support go hand in hand. This gives us the opportunity to understand how the systems are used, address new needs, and further develop our products over time.

New industries and new opportunities
Between 2013 and 2019, we expanded our business into more areas. We developed specialized systems for the art sector, created our own solutions for offices and visitor environments, and became an independent company.
2013 – RiwArt
We developed RiwArt for advanced art logistics and secure handling of art.
2014 – RegitArt
RegitArt is launched for inventory and administration of art collections at municipalities, authorities, and companies.
2015 – BookitWise
We launched BookitWise, a room booking system that helps organizations manage meeting rooms and bookings.
2016 – In-house kiosk hardware
We began designing and producing our own floor and table kiosks for the VisitLog visitor system. This allowed us to offer both software and customized hardware.
2017 – An independent company
RIW Software Technology AB became fully independent from the Rahmqvist Group and continued developing the business on its own.
2018 – Konstdatabasen and ArtSafe North
We acquired Konstdatabasen from Falck and established the sister company ArtSafe North, focusing on art-related systems.
2019 – VisitQ
We developed and launched VisitQ, a queue management system to structure visitor flows in public environments.
The next step in our development
From 2021, we entered a new development phase with Stockholm as our base. We continue to further develop our established systems while building new platforms for art management and customer relations.
2021 – Move to Stockholm
We left Lidingö and moved the business to Stockholm, where our development and support teams continue to work closely together.
2023 – Next generation RegitArt
We began developing a completely new platform for RegitArt. The goal is to create Sweden’s leading system for art inventory.
2024 – RememberCRM
We launched RememberCRM, a user-friendly CRM system developed from the ground up with a focus on Swedish companies' work methods.
2025 – Konstnärsdatabasen
We launched Konstnärsdatabasen, a platform that connects our art-related systems with art users, procurers, and artists.
The same core idea since 2007.
Much has changed since we developed our first products. Today, we work with everything from visitor management and case management to CRM, room booking, and advanced systems for art collections. But our way of working remains the same: we listen to users, understand their workflows, and develop software that makes everyday life easier.
